Michele Farmer

An experienced leader with decades of experience of working in the Third Sector and Public Sector, Michele is CEO of Go Beyond where she leads a small but mighty team that delivered 930 residential breaks for vulnerable children in 2023.

Michele is an advocate for partnership working and collaboration and a champion for early intervention. She is a strategic leader who enjoys working with a team to shape a vision. She’s bold and creative, prepared to take tough decisions and always happy to learn. A qualified Executive Coach, she believes in the importance of helping people to find their potential.

Alongside working with children and families, Michele has maintained a keen interest in the arts since starting her working life as a curator. Over the years she has created and led many organisations, has been a school governor and Trustee. In her spare time, she is a volunteer with the Samaritans.
