Sarah Shooter

Sarah is Head of Development at Theatre Royal Wakefield, where she leads a small team.

She is an experienced fundraiser, with a strong understanding and passion for the voluntary

sector and in particular theatre and the arts. Having started her career in London

supporting small charities to write funding bids, she has worked across the charity sector in

a variety of roles in fundraising.

She currently works across all areas of fundraising, managing a diverse portfolio including;

individual giving and our membership scheme; corporate giving and sponsorship;

developing and delivering fundraising events as well as managing our trusts and foundations

applications and relationships.

She is also a Programme Leader at the National Arts Fundraising School. The School is

designed and delivered by leading fundraisers – experts in their fields, who bring in

expertise from the arts, culture and heritage sector but also from international charities,

high performing UK agencies, Higher Education and business.
